U of I alumna, Molly Murphy, promoted to Principal at Gensler

Gensler, a global design firm, announced the promotion of U of I alumna Molly Murphy to Principal in its New York office.

Molly Murphy, Assoc. AIA, LEED AP, is the Director of the Brand Design studio in New York. She leads an award-winning multidisciplinary team of strategists, designers, and architects. Molly and her team focus on creating comprehensive brand experiences: achieved through strategy and positioning, identity development and integrated graphic, environmental and digital application. As a regional practice area leader, she champions constant learning, effective communication and
design innovation across the firm. Molly’s notable projects include her work with Brookfield, The Rockefeller Group, Proskauer, Mikimoto, Chase, Bank of America and MGM Mirage CityCenter Las Vegas. She holds an MBA and MArch from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign, where she was a Charles G. Rummel Graduate Fellowship recipient, and is a member of American Institute of Architects (AIA), American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) and Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD).
